'From Village to Village'
Much of Jesus' ministry took place in rural areas. Mark describes Jesus as “teaching from village to village” (Mark 6:6); Luke describes how Jesus sent out the twelve to go from “village to village, preaching the gospel and healing people everywhere” (Luke 9:8). In this issue, we describe some of how this is happening today, including in villages across central England and Wales, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and the Isle of Skye. This issue also introduces some new sections, including ‘lessons from the land’, book reviews, bible studies, 'village poetry’ and readers’ photos.

Issued in the first few months of the 'covid era', this issue's leading article asks, 'Covid 19 - is there any word from the Lord?'. It also includes news of how some village churches have adapted to, and seen opportunities arise from, the pandemic and lockdown. Two authors share how spring and gardens are signs of hope in the midst of uncertainty and fear.
